Today is a new day. Yesterday is forever gone and tomorrow is will never come. For there is no such thing as tomorrow there is only now. Every second is here and gone. Unless you bring up the past and try to relive it. The past will always be just that of the past. Every day in every way a new experience. No two days are exactly the same. Yet we see humans are always trying to live in the past and claim every day is just the same.
There are so many things that go on every second of every day that if an individual would try to list everything that happened during that one second of time it would take them many lifetimes. That is how enormous it is. Plus during that time you are trying to live in the past or live in the future, you are missing the now. The most important moment in time.
So why am I stressing this? It is because to really live the life you have to always be in the now. That you should be giving thanks for every second of every day. Yes, you can dwell in the future or dwell on the past. In fact, there is nothing greater then imaging about the future as long as you do not allow the things of the past to overshadow your next second.
In fact, it is though the imagination and visualization that you can change the direction that your life is now going in into the life you what to live. In The Power Of Awareness By Neville Goddard. Neville states “The Truth that sets you free is that you can experience in imagination what you desire to experience in reality, and by maintaining this experience in imagination, your desire will become an actuality.” Then in Think And Grow Rich By Napoleon Hill. He states “If you do not see great riches in your imagination, you will never see them in your bank balance.”
The problem is that we teach our children to stop imaging and face up to reality. To give up on their dreams in the face of the current reality. We tell our children, friends and family members why they can not do with a list of reasons why it can not be done. Instead of encouraging them to believe in their dreams and finding ways that we can help them make their dreams a reality.
I know it that I wondered off track but I felt that I wanted to stress the fact that there is nothing wrong with daydreaming about the future as long as it is not affecting the present moment. I feel that a certain amount of time should be set aside each day for visualization exercises. A time when you can plan your future through imagination. That other then that time you should be always focused in the present moment.
The problem is not dreaming about the future but worrying about the future at the present moment. You do have some control of your future by planning for it and saving to ensure that enough funds are available to have a comfortable retirement. Which is always a good idea. So there is nothing wrong with planning for the future as long you are not worrying about your future.
So in closing let me state that nothing should cloud the present moments. Each moment should be enjoyed at the present moment. You did not decide to come to this planet to live a life of worried about the past or the future but to enjoy life. So forget the past and leave the future to the Higher Source who is really the only one in control. Trust in the Higher Source to take of your future by living in the present moment and thanking the Higher Source for each and every second that you have been allowed to live on this planet.
